We had a fun shoot with Danielle and Jackie Taylor, two sisters on the USD swim team. For the shoot we built a shallow pool in the back of the studio so we could partially submerge them in water. I love finding creative ways to illustrate a story. This was one of my favorite frames.

Epson: Print Your Legacy Campaign
It was an honor to work with Epson this year on their ad campaign that we shot in New York. Inspired by my Behind Photographs project, Epson hired me to photograph photographers holding one of their favorite images. It was great to reconnect with Steve McCurry, Stephen Wilkes, Mark Seliger and Lois Greenfield and photograph some new faces, including Gregory Crewdson, Jeremy Cowart, Amy Toensing, Tim Tadder, John Paul Caponigro and Monica Stevenson. Here are a few ads that have been released.
The hardest part of the shoot was watching the Epson team tear the prints into pieces at the end of the day!
Behind Photographs at The Museum of Contemporary Art, San Diego.
It is an honor to have 31 of my original 20x24 Polaroids on display at the MCASD in La Jolla until 1/10/16. This is the first time these original Polaroids have been shown in public.
Behind Photographs is a project that I spent 5 years working on with 4 different 20x24 Cameras. Shoot across the United States, I documented over 150 photographers on this format. Please check out our store to see our book from this project.

Growing up a boxing fan, getting an assignment to photograph Sugar Ray Leonard was a dream come true. I was honored to be selected to shoot this cover for Athlon Sports. Ray was a true pro to work with and as expected, a complete gentleman.

I had the opportunity to make some portraits of USD's star basketball player, Chris Anderson. Chris is the all-time assist leader for the Toreros and was super fun and easy to photograph. What can I say, put him in front of the lens and just shoot, shoot, shoot.

I was thrilled to be asked to have one of my images of Tony Gwynn appear on the cover of this book. I worked with Tony several times over the years as a Padre, Coach and Broadcaster. He was a class act.

I am pleased to share the new cover for NBA Live15. Last year we photographed Kyrie Irving in Cleveland and this year we were off to EA Sports in Canada where we photographed rookie sensation, Damian Lillard.

100 images from my Behind Photographs exhibit have been on display at the Loft Project ETAGI. This an old bakery that is now the home to several shops, a cafe and galleries. I headed there for a few days to talk about my project and take in the city.
