Behind Photographs

In December of 2006, I rented a 20x24 Polaroid camera in San Francisco and made portraits of photographers Jim Marshall and Michael Zagaris, each holding one of their iconic images. The session would be the beginning of a 5 year journey that would take me to photograph over 150 photographers on this unique and mammoth format.
